Payment Processes

Payments are due at the start of each session in order to prevent any balances from accruing. Session fees can be paid by cash or credit card. I am not affiliated with any insurance companies at this time. As such, services are considered out-of-network. The session fee must be paid at the beginning of each session; if requested a superbill (detailed receipt) can be provided on a monthly basis for submitting to the insurance company for reimbursement based on out-of-network benefits. It is strongly recommended to confirm your benefits with your insurance company and obtain approval for this payment process ahead of time and to understand that insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Session fees remain the responsibility of the client, whether or not reimbursement occurs.

With respect to cancellations, you will be charged the full fee on the date of the service for each scheduled service if you do not show, your are more than 20 minutes late or if you cancel with less than 24-hours notice, unless there is an urgent emergency, in which documentation from emergency personnel, such as a physician will be necessary. A credit card number will be kept on file and will be charged on the date of the missed or late cancelled appointment.



Due to the nature of counseling services, I never overbook schedules. As such, 24-hour noticefor cancellation of or rescheduling of appointments is required to avoid being charged for your appointment in full ($150 for individual and $175 for couples/joint sessions). Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled by calling speaking to me directly or leaving a voicemail. You are ultimately responsible for remembering your scheduled appointments. Also, if you are more than 20 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule, and you will be charged the full fee for your session.
